Maria: This boot from Ek of Sweden is really gorgeous! Lovely texture and quality of the leather, great colour and heavy weighted as expected for a boot. Unfortunately the Scorett shop didn't carry size 41.. Got to get this one somewhere else, real classic shoes!

King Size Skor

We went on a trip to suburbian shoe-shop King size shoes in Arlöv outside Malmö, specialized in large size shoes both for women and men. The range of shoes goes from size 42 upwards, and the selection was very varied. However, we managed to find some goodies and Ida even had to ask for a sole to fit the shoe perfect!

The usual of boring selection of large sizes, but..

..found a ballerina shoe in a nice mustard colour..

..nice high heels..

...mustard coloured ballerinas - leather mature version or fake suede nicer version? 

Ohlala, high heel pointed boots!

 It must be said that we went there with some prejudices, but was well taken care of professional and nice salespersons and surprised by some reallly nice styles!

Maria: I found a few nice pair of shoes at Kurt Geiger's site. The great thing about them is that 1) they are marked down nearly 75% and 2) they are available in my size 41. I have never tried this brand before, so the question is whether size 41 is a “true” size 41 or not..

Ida: If I had unlimited resources, these 4 available shoes in size 42 would be my favourites from net-a-porter. Though, no measurementchart is shown on the site, so they might as well be too small since I usually wear either size 42 or size 43.

Jerns is the retailchain in Sweden that carries larger women shoes, up to size 44. The selection though is a bit depressing. It seems to appeal women over 60 years (alternatively those with boring taste) only. Attached pictures speak for themeselves..
